If you've ever fancied owning your very own mini tank, BPG Werks Inc. has developed the DTV Shredder, which is now available as a bona fide off-road vehicle in the U.S. and Canada. The dual-tracked vehicle is a combination of a deck and a powerful 18 horsepower engine with two aggressive tank-treads capable of 'shredding' any terrain at high speeds. The Shredder has already taken the extreme sports world by storm and it will appear in the upcoming MotorStorm Apocalypse and Nitro Circus movies coming out in the spring (11). Beyond extreme sports, the DTV has inherent military applications: it's small, powerful and durable. It can traverse any terrain and even has towing capabilities. The DTV Shredder is currently being tested by the U.S. Army at Camp Roberts with the Monterey Naval Post Graduate School. And it comes with a modular unit that can switch from a transport vehicle to RC controlled offensive or reconnaissance mode.
