    Yeah, all of the above….

  5. your mother says:

Oh god I'd rather get bombed to hell than get those angry motherfuckers think I'm an insurgent.

    Last picture is awwwwwwww-inspiring, though.

  6. Gandalf.. says:

A salute to the dogs of my country…

  7. MWD HANDLER says:

*source says 95th MP Batt. #9 is MWD ORAN from 99th Security Forces Squadron (Nellis AFB) AIR FORCE. #11 is MWD SNIPER (same squadron). #15 is MWD DERIK from 341st Training Squadron (Lackland AFB). I don't know the Mal in 15 (SSgt Vasquez) but she's AF too. Oran and Sniper are about to be adopted out, And if you've met Oran, I'm told he's mellowed quite a bit… ha
And the dogs will beat the hel out of your face with those muzzles as soon as they get over the edge of that chopper door…

  8. Cara Ellison says:

Those are absolutely amazingly beautiful. Good boys, all of them.

  9. Battle Angel says:

The highest decorated dog of all tim was a Pit Bull named Sarge. German Shepards are OK but I'd much rather have a Pit Bull at my side.

  10. Da Cuntstabber says:

So much fascism on this and your other websites.

    Don't worry I won´t bite you

    • DukeRL says:

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

(You in a very general sense)

      Apologies to "The Princess Bride".

  11. Mike T says:

Those pictures are so inspiring. God bless those men, women and four-legged badasses keeping us safe!

  12. @csungrad says:

Awesome photos of military dogs in action.

  13. guy on a plane says:

i was on a flight from newark to charlotte NC a couple years ago and an MP and his dog were in the seat next to me, the dog just curled up under the seat and slept the whole time it was really cute, the guy had some good stories too

  14. Lil Missy says:

How come no Pit Bulls?? Are they too tough and powerful for the military?? Perhaps they might scare the beejeeezuz out of the enemy…….can't have that can we ??

    • Mags says:

Hopefully sometime in the future pits will get a chance to show everyone what they're made of :) Actually there are some police departments around the country taking poor, mistreated pits out of the shelters (there are far too many, right?!) and they're actually making EXCELLENT police dogs, and much more cost-effective than paying upwards of $4k for a german sheppard imported from the Netherlands or some BS. So there's lots to see from our pitties :)

    • bob Davis says:

Well, maybe its because pits aren't as "all around" excellent dogs as german shepherds are. Maybe they just excel at a few things, but not all. Shepherds have consistantly been the best all around dogs because they were created as a breed at the turn of the 20th century for exactly that. Research it and you'll learn something…

  15. @rte148 says:

    4 legged heroes.

  16. Aminalluvah says:

What’s with all the “puppy-ganda”? Tee hee…damned adorable! Sic em boys!

  17. Kristin says:

These kinda made me tear up a little. I love dogs so much! Great post.

  18. The Dog Shouter says:

Except for Nos. 10 and 11, my Shepherd can't do much of the stuff shown here. Outstanding dogs. As for pit bulls, I guess they're the thing to have if you encounter terrorists attacking with dogs (al Vickqaeda). But dogs are very little favored among those of the predominant terroristic faith. Hence the conspicuously poor dog-rearing we've seen from our esteemed president, B. Husein.

  19. johnny rotten says:

    #27 literally a doggy bag

  20. deumass says:

Soo….that chick that got photos taken of her on those naked Iraqi POWs has a big German Sheppard?
    Thats nice..

  21. Old GI says:

Pit Bulls (Bulldogs in general), some were the old Marine "devil dogs", have now been banned on all Marine Bases.
Even though the Marines still maintain the "bulldog" as their mascot. Probably not long until German Sheps are banned too. The lib Obama REMF geniuses did it to the Marines in 2009.

  22. Bob says:

#15 is an old photo, I think I see an F-105 "Thud" in the background.

  23. lockdoc1 says:

#21 doesn’t look too thrilled to be there!

  24. Anonymous says:

Y’all seem to run heavy to Shepherds. Is that a breed thing? After Flopsie, my chow/ shepherd/ wolf mix goes, I’d like it if you would consider MyDogJoe/ a laprador mix for a job.

  25. Jeff Perren says:

Awesome! I've never used that word on a blog before, but there's simply no better description for these photos.

    Thank you.
