US army officers with the 101st Airborne Division pay their respects by the boots, gun, helmet and dog-tags of US army First Lieutenant Todd W. Weaver displayed during a memorial ceremony in his honor at Combat Outpost Terra Nova on the outskirts the Arghandab Valley's Jellawar village on September 14, 2010. Weaver, of the 101st Airborne Division HHB/1-320th FAR, was killed by an improvised explosive device (IED) on September 9.

    Bless all the soldiers overseas and may they all come back safely. Some of you may not agree on the war but goddamn it, these are Americans and they are putting their life on the line for what they believe in. Everyone in the peanut gallery, what have you done lately? What have you done in your life to make a difference in it or in others? So sit down, shut the fuck up and respect the fallen soldiers!

    I graduated with Todd from highschool and don't think we ever even spoke a word to eachother. I regret not knowing such a smart, brave, caring and badass dude deeply. Thank you for everything you did, Todd. Emma, stay strong.
