I see it a lot on American uniforms can't work out what the acronym would be for.

Sorry for the late reply, ISAF = Internatinal Security Assistance Force; basically it's NATO in Afghanistan with the U.S. making up over 65% of the ISAF. Thanks for checking out the site.

Mazar Al Sharif, recheck, Mazar e Sharif, North-Eastern Afghanistan, check!
The swedes are located at a camp called Northern Lights, which is situated outside of Mazar e Sharif, close to Camp Marmal (German controlled ISAF/NATO apod)
Furthermore, the #26, is taken at a FOB, location unknown..

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's a swiss assault rifle.
From Wiki:
"The Ak 5 (sometimes AK5) is the Swedish version of the FN FNC assault rifle with certain modifications, mostly to adapt the weapon to the Swedish climate."
And the AK5 is acctually manufactured by Bofors(the one on the picture is AK5C).
