What else would I post on Halloween. There are 2 variants of the Lockheed AC-130 gunship. The AC-130H "Spectre" is armed with two 20 mm M61 Vulcan cannons, one Bofors 40mm autocannon, and one 105 mm M102 cannon. The upgraded AC-130U "Spooky" has a single 25 mm GAU-12 Equalizer in place of the Spectre's twin 20 mm cannons, as well as an improved fire control system and increased capacity for ammunition.

Especially if they just colored a screenshot from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and tried to pass it off as genuine.
That, or they started retrofitting the AC 130 with a 9 year old controlling the fire controls with an xbox controller.

I meant to say, that I'm seen the Infrared screens on both aircraft and what is pictured here is not what you see looking at the console screens.

As a retired Marine. This is the best that the USAF has to offer. I felt safe & secure when these boys were in my district. These air crews never went THIRSTY in my area of operations. Thank you once again for changing my diapers, I am alive because of these brave crews.
#5 & #8 are both fakes. Both appear to be a video game. #20…RIP Dan…..gunner in the center passed away a few years back.
Great plane to fly on, shame there weren't any booth pictures.
They are pretty safe, and their conduct is very cautious against AA systems. Some just become too aggressive that even Spirit 03 was shot down by a guy carrying a Strela-2 launcher. Im just saying that the AC-130 isnt invincible as anyone says, but its still an amazing aircraft.
