Deputy Sheriff Suzanne Hopper lost her life to a gun man while investigating footprints after a report of gun shots from a trailer park came in. Officer Jeremy Blum was also shot in the shoulder during the ensuing shoot out. The gun man was killed in the shoot out. Suzanne Hopper was a veteran of the Clark County police department, which is a town out side of Columbus, Ohio.
