"I was part of 2nd Battalion 8th Marines. We were one of the first waves into Iraq back in March 2003. Most of these pictures were taken in An Nasirya, Iraq. We were the crew that discovered the Jessica Lynch crew and started prepping/leveling the city for the rescue. We spent a lot of time there battling Iraqis faithful to the Baath Party." -

Would really like to pop off a couple of rounds,with the newer weapons you guys have.They didn't have the Saw,when I was in.Fired expert w/M-60 and M-203 GL. I'm a former NBC/NCO with the 101st Airbourne 1st/503rd Rock Battalion. The gas man.Sorry bout that !!! I also miss hanging my ass out of a Huey.Make it home safe,guys.And watch out for those packages by the side of the road.IED's Old enough to be your dad,but still young in spirit! Terry
