With reasonable assurance, I can say that Egypt's control of the Suez Canal will impact fuel prices, but minimally with respect to investor's speculation in the industry. In times of violent conflict, such as this, investors will remove capital from stocks and pour it into safe haven markets such as gold, oil and treasuries. It's going to be a while before the Dow cracks 12,000 and stays there.

In short, go bear on your investments, buy gold NOW, and count your money later…

Another thought: While the US *has* given a lot of countries a *lot* of money, quite a bit of money was given the form of loans that have never been repaid…not even interest payments in some cases. Why not just demand payment…in full…with the all agreed (but crazy low) interest…from the lot of them and cut them off from future aid. Put the money into *intensive* research and implementation of alternative energy and other means of freeing ourselves from the international market. It wouldn’t be a utopia, but it isn’t that now anyway. A good chunk of the planet doesn’t like us anyway. Lets get our own house in order and tell the rest of them to f*ck off. Not that I actually think any government intends to make good on the debt…

just revealed on the local news that the American intelligence trained and paid Egyptian civilians how to wreck havoc and chaos during the peaceful protests that started in 25th of January
the source of these reports where from one of the youth who where invited to America for training on how to Overthrow the regime and cause panic all over the government

during which, some “UNKNOWEN SIDE” has attacked all the prisons all over the government and set lose all of the criminals in EGYPT!!

alarmed by this statement, all the Egyptians have left their homes and barrackated in the streets, all together as one and started defending their homes with their hands, and fought those criminals, many have fallen dead( Martyrs that is), in an event that was described as “one of the most courages acts in the history”
