Where were you on 911? (28 powerful photos of the FDNY 343)

This will always be my generations JFK. I was in between a morning practice and class. I watched it live from my dorm. I'm guessing I'm not the only one that remembers every moment of the towers falling. So where were you?

On my way to work on the SkyTrain (our subway). Only one in the car with a radio. Everyone thought I was either lieing or joking when I told them that they had just reported the towers were gone.

I was waiting for my 5th grade teacher to come in to the classroom, and when she did the principal was with her not saying a word they turned on the tv as the second plane hit. This is a day that will be taught in history books and 20 years down the line it will be another boring, except for those who remember. I salute all those serving proudly.

I was working in a chemical plant in Colorado. I have never seen the government move so fast to shut down a plant in my life. They stuck us in the conference room and did a backround check on all of us. We sat there and watched it on the news all day. Oh and we were at the end of the runway for the local airport.
