This plane is massive up close. It might be technologically outdated but would still scare the shit out of anyone it flies above!
And the power/noise of the Rolls Royce Olympus engines…ooffft!!!
by far the best plane britian has ever produced, its a shame their service length hadnt continued to this day, the Americans keep B52's and B1's and we've scrapped the Vulcan and the Nimrod.
Shows British Engineering at its finest.
Very cool. A vulcan used to come to Chicago for the air and water show. Great plane.
