Yes ,Mom saw it ,it was her birthday nov 17 , that soldier turned 22 -13 days later in Afghanistan and returned home safe and sound on Dec 23 2010 , he is currently in Norway preparing for NATO exercises ,thanks to all

Pic 25 – What is the significance of 'stripes and stars' rather than 'stars and stripes'. I'm guessing the black/white is a camouflage thing by why the mirror image of the flag.
The flag is worn on the right shoulder with the Union (the 50 stars) leading as if the flag is flying from a pole and moving forward.
If worn as the flag is usually displayed, it would suggest retreat. We never retreat.
