That was a hell of a day, the convoy i was a part of rolled through the gate about an hour before the actual final convoy. The doors are closed and many family and friends back home can sleep a little easier knowing thier loved ones over here won't be driving those roads anymore.

Thank God! Be safe all of those that are coming back, R.I.P. to those that will not come home.
Thanks to all for your service.

Hopefully they'll get home for Christmas.

And already Iraq is looking towards a bloody civil war. Makes you wonder why anyone would bother.
