A few things:
#1 reminds me of the countless hours I sat playing spades and rummy with my brothers while we were on guard duty. Great memories!
#15 is absolutely perfect in every way, shape and form.
#23 My old boss spent 20 years in the Navy as an aircraft ordnance NCO, half of which was spent on the USS Enterprise, which was so gloriously photographed in the Choose Your Weapon today. He was telling me that the arrestor wires that stop the planes are at least a couple of inches thick, and if they were to snap they'd cut you in half…just to give you an idea of the tension those cables are under.
