- “My friend’s truck hit an IED on December 27. He had deployed roughly 3 weeks earlier with two other Military Police from Ft. Hood (in Texas) that also did not survive. I have never seen so many people at a funeral, or so many people this upset about one person as I did at Kurt’s. A mother at the funeral stood up, her son was friends with Kurt, and without hesitation stated that Kurt was the best person she has ever met in her entire life. In such a close-knit community, that is a very bold statement. But it was an understatement. I just feel the world should know that we all lost Kurt.”

R.I.P. M.P. Kurt Kern. Thank you for your service and Ultimate sacrifice for your country God Bless your family and friends
I wish politics were not involved and our men and women could do the Things nessessary to get the job done, the enemy has no constraints. RIP Kurt
Nice
Thank you, Kurt. I'm in awe of the job our military does for me, so I may never see the horrors of war. Whatever reason they have for joining, they know the risks, if the country needs them. Again, thank you Kurt, your two fallen brothers, and the rest of our armed forces.
I am always humbled by the sacrifices of our men and women in uniform. Bless this young man and his family. May they find peace.
I wonder if I am somehow related to him. I share the same last name and serve in the Canadian Forces
RIP Brother
Rest in peace Gentlemen. Thank you all very much.
Thank you Kurt and the other two MP's as well as the soldier who submitted this. I and the rest of this country are truly in debt to what yall do for us. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting your lifes on the line for all American's even the one's who don't understand or respect what yall do for us and the ones who don't deserve your protection.
Again thank you to all of our armed forces home and away.
