Really incredible photos,
I like the bare-metal look in the before-launch photos. Reminds everyone of the Atlas heritage. It evolved from a ballistic missile, afer all.
I wonder if it was the one launched last Friday approx 5:30 pm. It went in the opposite direction from what the Shuttle used to go.
#2 #7 Were the launch of the MSL Curiosity, the rover on its way to Mars right now. Which would put make them from the November 26 launch.
Dammit! The last one launched on my birthday & I missed it! And I live in Cape Canaveral!
Seeing even an unmanned launch like this makes me yearn to go out there. A kids dream that never went away. I'm close to 60 now.
