These are the very fist color photos I have ever seen of WW1, There seems to be a surreal look to them

Thank you Patrick.Francesco – I’ll admit your GI Robot piece was the first thing I thought of when I was reaidng this panel description in the script. I made sure not to go back and look at it though because I didn’t want to copy it. You should know though, that EVERYTHING you do inspires me!
Thanks for posting, I agree about the surreal effect of seeing that era in color.
Huh, I don't know. Looking at the colors, most of these look like black & white photographs that were colorized after the fact. If you want to see the sheer quality that was already possible even back then when it came to color photography, look at what the French and the Russians did. Those are truly amazing.
