__I'm very surprised and glad to find pictures of the Lockheed P3 Orion on wordpress.com. This aircraft was being phased in as an ASW patrol aircraft to replace the Lockheed Neptune P2V-7 back in the early 1960's. I flew as a crewmember on the P2V-7 for four years while doing my turn in the US Navy from 1959 to 1963. Brings back lots of memories. Thanks for being here.
