“For the first time in 30 years US Navy Midshipmen were part of a foreign exchange program with the Egyptian Navy. Even in the middle of a huge turnover in government and after the revolution, we still came and improved relations with the Egyptians. During this visit, we were able to meet many admirals, cadets, and officers in the navy as well as see most of the beautiful sights that Egypt has to offer. We even got to go on a 8 day cadet cruise from the Mediterranean Sea, through the Suez Canal, and into the Red Sea. Through all of this, I made sure to KCCO and hopefully get some Egyptians to turn into Chivers as well! Here’s a Chive on to making friends in Egypt”
