“Hosted by the USAF at Nellis AFB, NV and Eieleson AFB, AK Red Flag is
fighter pilot heaven. RF 12-4 took place at Nellis and featured a slew
of aircraft from different countries and services. The Colombian Air
Force was present for the first time with their Israeli made Kfir
fighters as well as their Kc-707 and Kc-767 tankers. The United Arab
Emirates showed in their advanced Block 60 F-16 “Desert Falcons.” The
Navy and Marines brought the EA-6B Prowler jamming platform. Of
course, the USAF was out in force with multiple units of F-16′s,
F-15C’s, F-15E’s, A-10′s, HH-60′s, Kc-135′s, B-52′s, E-3′s, and
B-1B’s.The Red Air force was made up of the USAF Aggressor squadron flying
F-16′s and F-15C’s.”
