“USS Ingraham FFG-61. Ships motto: “The Last and Finest.”
The USS Ingraham (aka the Ham) was commissioned in 1989, and is the last
Oliver Perry Class type frigate built in the US Navy. Length of the ship
is 453 ft, and has an all male crew…and a few female officers. Each
picture represents many, but not all, the divisions that work on the
Ingraham. From the not so glorified engineers (which I am one, and we
work really hard with no recognition), to the deck workers, to the gun
shooters. While out on deployment, almost every shipmate on the Ham fell
in love with TheChive. It helped us keep our sanity while away for so
long.

positive website and community. When things got crazy, we kept calm and
chived on!”
