It’s an old set of photos…a lot of people have seen it but I figured I’d post it b/c I was brain dead on a Sunday. Basically, when the F/A-18 was stopped by the arresting cable, the improperly attached missile flew off its rail and just continued on its merry way, just like those who don’t wear seat belts sometimes fly through a windshield in a car accident.
